Product Overview
The Grommet Rubber 0.50" x 0.25" x 0.19" is a grommet that is used to protect holes from sharp edges. Mechanical devices may have a sharp holes with pointed edges that can impact or damage the materials that passing through them. In order to avoid such possibilities a rubber grommet can be used to provide lining to such holes. The servo controlled oxygen system of the Giraffe™ Incubator uses a fan mounting to reduce temperature rise in the sensor housing door. The fan mounting has a hole at the bottom, where a rubber grommet is used to provide such lining. It also helps to prevent mechanical grounding. Rubber grommets can offer structural reliability, allowing it fit into different shapes. They can also be used to minimize the transmission of vibration and noise. A similar way it is used to isolate electronic circuits as well. Metal and plastic grommets are also available and can be selected based on the application. The grommet comes as a part of MIC Giraffe™ OmniBed, Modular, MIC - Other Infant Care and ARC Avance Carestation along with Giraffe™ Incubator.
